Vodafone Australia, in their weekly software update wrap-up post, reveals that Android 7.1 Nougat update for Galaxy S8 and S8+ is under testing. This means that once the test is completed, Samsung will start rolling out the Android 7.1 Nougat which shouldn’t take much time.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have started receiving an update which brings Google Daydream VR support. This rollout isn’t happening as an OTA update, because it’s server-side and the company ‘will take time to finish rolling out’. If you are unable to see the Daydream app on your S8 or S8 Plus just yet, you can try clearing all data from the Google VR Services application as doing this has enabled Daydream VR on S8.
