Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update to release in mid-February in China

Earlier last week, Samsung rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices in Europe. The update is slowly expanding to more countries in the region. However, for the Asian countries such as China, the update will be coming later in mid-February.

As per a report out of China, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Android 7.0 update will be officially rolling in mid-February. Earlier, the update was halted due to software bugs in the country, and instead the Nougat Beta 7 was released in China with build G9350ZCU2ZQA4.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update brings along Samsung Experience 8.0 UI to the devices replacing the TouchWiz and Grace UX user interface Samsung has previously used on its Android devices.

For those in Europe, who haven’t yet received the update via OTA, can download the full Odin flashable Nougat firmware for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

  1. Who have 9350 HK and China version, can not update to 7.0 because they have snapdragon inside. We have to wait for official update!
