The holiday season is now upon us, and Samsung is treating us all by offering the Gear VR for free with the purchase of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. This offer is only available in the US at the moment, and is available for all Galaxy S7 sets, whether that be at carriers AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon, or the unlocked version.
Earlier, Verizon was selling the Galaxy S7 Edge for $15 monthly payment, but it looks like that offer is gone and the free Gear VR set has come back.
The Gear VR is Samsung’s VR set, as compared to Google’s Daydream VR. It’s powered by Oculus, a company that also sells its own Oculus rift VR set.
