Download Galaxy S6 Marshmallow TWRP Recovery

Samsung released a beta build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the last week of 2015 for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge devices in UK.

Thankfully, for the rest of the world with international S6 (920F) and S6 edge (925F) in hand, it is easy to flash/install a UK firmware and get the Marshmallow beta update directly via OTA.

However, what’s not good about the S6 Marshmallow update is that the previously working build of TWRP recovery (from Lollipop) doesn’t work anymore on the Marshmallow firmware.

And you need TWRP to get easy root via the latest SuperSU beta. Thankfully, some folks over at XDA have worked up a TWRP recovery build that’s compatible with Galaxy S6 Marshmallow firmware (G920FXXU3ZOL6).

This recovery build, however, is only compatible with Galaxy S6 devices running the beta Marshmallow firmware, NOT the Galaxy S6 edge devices. This is because S6 edge has a curved screen, and TWRP doesn’t go well with that until it’s modified to fit it.

You can grab the Galaxy S6 Marshmallow compatible TWRP recovery from the download link below and simply unzip it to get the Odin flashable .tar file.
