Galaxy S3 LTE Firmware already leaked! Dubbed, I9305XXALI5, and based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean

The Galaxy S3 LTE’s existence was first confirmed when the source for its kernel was found on Samsung‘s website, proving that an LTE variant that didn’t forego the quad-core Exynos processor for a dual-core Snapdragon processor was coming. Now, the actual firmware from the Galaxy S3 LTE has leaked, based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean which is what the device will come with out of the box.

The firmware – having the version I9305XXALI5 – is for the Australian Galaxy S3 LTE and has been released by Sammobile. Again, just like the kernel source, the firmware right now is not useful for the general user, but will allow developers to take a look at its internals, and also extract some goodies like wallpapers, ringtones, etc and release them for the general public to use. Though when the device actually releases, the firmware will also help owners of the device to go back to stock official firmware if needed.

According to a previously leaked release schedule, the Galaxy S3 LTE will be making its way to Germany in the first week of October, but there is info about its release dates in other countries.
