Galaxy On7 Pro spotted at Bluetooth SIG, should launch soon

On7 Pro

After being certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance as well as the FCC a few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro carrying the model number SM-G615F has now been certified by the Bluetooth SIG.

Clearly, Samsung’s upcoming handset has received a green signal from all the certifications required for a device to be made available to the public. This means the Galaxy On7 Pro should launch any time now.

The smartphone has also made an appearance on the GFXBench recently revealing the key specs of the handset. As per the listing, the device will feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display and will pack 4GB of RAM alongside 32GB of onboard storage.

At the heart of the device will be the 2.3GHz oct-core MediaTek MT6757 chipset teamed with a dual-core ARM Mali-T880 GPU to take care of graphics.

As per the leaks, the device will feature a 12MP sensor on the back as well as the front for the shutterbugs and selfie enthusiasts.

It will run Android 7.0 Nougat straight out-of-the-box and is expected to be backed by a 3,300mAh battery.

  1. Why did they move form Snapdragon to MTK ? Otherwise its a decent upgrade from the last years version.I don’t like Samsung’s phones other than the S series and the J series but for the people who look for a branded phone under a budget its a decent phone except for the MTK processor .Nice to see 4gb of RAM too hopefully its price is around its predecessor.I’m guessing around 15k

    1. Yeah mediatek processors usually mean a weak developer community :/ But this phone does seem like a pretty good bargain anyway!

    2. Yep other than that the phones is very good specifications-wise 😀

  2. wow!! 4GB RAM, 5.7″ FHD display and Helio P20!! this On-series device is packing better specs than the J- series, better than any of the smasung’s sub 20k INR device!! this will definitely worth recommending to my friends once launched!!

  5. I may actually consider buying this phone in the future if my current phone starts to slow down. The specs on this phone are pretty amazing.

  9. This reminds of the galaxy grand. Huge phone and pretty above average specs at an affordable range hopefully. The RAM seems to hold up but I am not sure about its processor. Great phone in theory but should live up to that practically when it hits the market.
