Galaxy Note 7R listed at starting price of 3599 yuan in China

We already knew that Samsung was going to sell refurbished units of the Galaxy Note 7 in Korea and China. The refurbished units would be called Galaxy Note 7R and would feature a smaller capacity battery.

Although Samsung hasn’t officially started selling the new Note 7R, some websites in China have. The Galaxy Note 7R is being sold online in China for around 3599 Yuan, which is about 2000 Yuan cheaper than the old price. Some customers have already bought the phone and have posted photos of it online.

The only difference seems to be the change in battery capacity and a big ‘R’ lettering at the back of the phone. Previous reports have mentioned that Samsung will sell the device in Korea in four colors, i.e.,  Coral Blue, Black, White and Silver.

The Note 7R recently also appeared on GeekBench with the model number SM-N935S. There has been some speculation that the device might come with the Exynos 8895 chipset as well. We should probably get an official announcement from Samsung very soon.
