Galaxy Note 2 Price for India and Germany: INR 39,900 and €599 respectively

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 India

Samsung has launched its 5.5-inch phablet android device, the Galaxy Note 2, in India and Germany. And its pricing is out too: the Galaxy Note 2 in India will cost for INR 39,900 ($750 approx) while in Germany it’s €599.

During the last month, Galaxy S3’s price as taken a down, and that has allowed Samsung to release the Galaxy Note 2 in India at almost same price as it was for Galaxy S3 upon its launch. So, within 4-5 months of releasing the Galaxy S3 at the premium price of INR40K, Samsung has a device back at that price end, while its Galaxy S3 challenges the One X and many other phones in the range of INR 30-32K.

Anyway, the Galaxy Note 2 launched in Germany and India is same international version of Note 2 that the company has already launched in UK (release date: October 1) and will be launching in other Asian and European markets pretty soon.

Moreover, not only India and Germany, we just got hold of the news Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 2 in Australia and South Korea too, with many more countries following up soon. Samsung has already confirmed the Galaxy Note 2 for US carriers, too.

There used to be a single device each year by the company which are its pinnacle (like, TC has One X and Apple got iPhone 5 right now), but this two flagship device per year (one in June: Galaxy S3, and another in October: Galaxy Note 2) is really helping Samsung maintain its latest and greatest at the maximum price tag as well as just a level down than the premium, to attract both sets of high-profit user base well.

And just in case you didn’t already know about the Galaxy Note 2 specs, they are: 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2 GB RAM, 1.6 GHz Exynos processor, 3100 mAh battery, an 8 MP camera and it’s got Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 2 comes in 3 variants: 16, 32 and 64 GB; and in two colors: white and gray.
