Galaxy J5 Prime Nougat update to release soon now

Samsung has already confirmed that J5 Prime users would get Android Nougat. Looks like Galaxy J5 Prime users would taste Nougat soon. Yup, still Android Nougat. We know it’s kind of sad that Oreo is out and J5 Prime users are still waiting for Nougat update.

The Galaxy J5 Prime has been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance running on Android Nougat 7.0. And it’s not just one model, but many models of Galaxy J5 Prime have been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance. These include SM-G570Y/DS, SM-G570M/DS, SM-G570 F/DS, SM-G570f/DD, SM-G570Y, and SM-G570M.

For those not in the know, Android 7.0 Nougat brings quick app switching (double tap the recent key to go to last app), split screen mode, revamped notification shade which bundles similar notifications together, clear recent apps button (present at top), a new row of quick settings, better settings navigation thanks to navigation menu present under hamburger icon and suggested settings.
