Galaxy J3 2017 should release soon, single and dual-SIM variant clear FCC

Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 has landed at US certification site FCC hinting that its release is just round the corner. This device has already made an appearance on WiFi Alliance and Geekbench.

The FCC has given certification to two Galaxy J3 2017 models — SM-J330F and SM-J330DS. This means that Samsung will launch the 2017 variant of J3 in two versions, one with a single SIM and another with a dual SIM. When it comes to more info, the FCC listing fails us.

However, on the basis of Geekbench listing, we can draw an expected specsheet for the device. Powered by quad-core Exynos 7570 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz , the J3 2017 will run Android 7.0 Nougat. Underneath it will pack 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Strangely, the Geekbench listing shows the phone with a 5-megapixel rear snapper and 2-megapixel front shooter. Now this is highly unlikely as its predecessor J5 2016 carried 8MP back camera and 5MP front camera. So, we expect the cameras on the 2017 J3 phone to be at least at par with its predecessor if not more.

Samsung is also working on two other J series phones namely Galaxy J5 2017 and Galaxy J7 2017 which should also soon see the light of the day.
