Samsung has now officially announced the much awaited Galaxy A series 2017 devices. The devices pack great hardware and a sleek build that should be enough for the mid-range buyers looking for a quality phone.
However, if you;re someone like us, you’d probably prefer to purchase an Android phone that can be easily rooted. Thankfully, Samsung sells the Galaxy A7 2017 with an unlocked bootloader out of the box. Meaning, you’ll be easily able to install TWRP recovery on your A7 2017 and get root with SuperSU or Magisk zip.
An unofficial build of TWRP recovery for the Galaxy A7 2017 should be available shortly once the device reaches in the hands of knowledgeable folks over at xda. And an official release should soon follow after an unofficial build is tested to be working flawlessly.
Once TWRP is available, you can simply flash the SuperSU zip via TWRP on your Galaxy A7 2017 to get root access. SuperSU is the easiest of all rooting methods. However, getting root with SuperSU breaks SafetyNet which might block you from using certain services such as Android Pay. And this is where Magisk comes into play.
Magisk systemless framework let’s you toggle root on/off on-the-fly without even requiring a reboot. This let’s you disable root when need be such as when you want to use Android Pay or play games like Pokemon Go and others.
