Galaxy A3 2016 Android 7.0 Nougat update released in Germany

Reports of Android Nougat update for Galaxy A3 2016 have been making rounds since almost March. First, the Nougat update was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance followed by its presence on GFXBench, which clearly indicated that the Samsung would soon release Nougat for Galaxy A3 2016.

And guess what? The day has arrived finally. Germany is the first country where Nougat update would grace the Galaxy A3 2016 variant. The update has been released in Germany as per sources with the build number A310FXXU3CQE6.

The Android Nougat update would bring many features such as Google’s own split-screen mode, improved Doze mode, Notification Direct Reply, Bundled Notifications and much more.

Galaxy A3 2016 will get the Android 7.0 update Over-The-Air(OTA) and you will be notified about the same. It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and since the update would weigh around 1 GB, make sure you have enough free storage. Further, keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.

You can also check for the update manually via the device settings. Go to Settings – About – Software updates.

  1. This nougat version does not have split screen option. A5 2016 has it but A3 doesn’t. It is nougat native function that is for some reason disabled. It’s also laggy, half baked, uses too much RAM and is ugly as hell. I will go back to marshmallow now if I can.. Ridiculous…
