Future flexible displays from Samsung showed in a Video

Flexible Displays

Fictitious displays shown off in Avatar and Star Trek may soon become a thing of the past, at least that’s the impression it leaves us with when we see the latest video from Samsung flaunting their flexible OLED displays.

Bend it, fold it or simply roll it, these new displays from Samsung are aiming to be transparent as well as flexible to an extent where it could simply be rolled into something as small as a pen’s cap or be used on a car’s windshield to help you navigate while you drive.

Samsung uses LITI technology to achieve a pixel density of more than 300 ppi and rumor has it that the first flexible display from Samsung could be used in the rumored Galaxy Q Smartbook tablet which is supposed to have foldable dual displays.

Check out the video for yourself and let us know what you think about this futuristic display.
