Flyme OS 6 ported to Galaxy S7 Edge

Meizu’s Flyme OS 6, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, has received a port to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The custom ROM is now available for download.

The interface of the Flyme OS 6 is very clean and beautiful, and if you’ve ever wanted to try it on your S7 Edge, now is the time. As this is a port, the ROM is currently not ready for daily use. However, you can still experience the OS on the S7 Edge.

As of now, Flyme OS 6 ROM for the S7 Edge boots, but takes a long time. The touch, graphics, GPS (partially), buttons, and USB debugging currently work on the ROM. You will have to flash the ROM manually and then wait for it to boot. Apparently, it takes around 20 minutes for it to boot and the screen will turn off a couple of times.

The ROM weighs about 890MB and can be from the source link below. The developers of the port say that lot of fixes and improvements are coming to make this ROM a daily driver. Therefore, if you are interested in running Flyme OS 6 on your S7 Edge, then do follow the XDA thread.
