How to Enable Night Mode on HTC 10 Nougat Update

The Night mode which is available as a hidden option on the stock Android 7.0 Nougat builds by Google, seems to have come out of the dark on HTC’s Nougat update for the HTC 10.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update which rolled out a few days earlier for the HTC 10 US edition has the Night mode feature enabled by default on the device, and is also accessible easily from the quick settings panel.

Notably, Google has the already hidden feature from Android 7.0 completely removed on the developer preview release of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

How to Enable Night mode on HTC Nougat update

  1. Pull down the notification bar.
  2. Access Quick settings panel.
  3. Swipe left to get to second page of Quick settings.
  4. Tap on the Night mode toggle.
  5. To configure Night mode settings:
    1. Go to device Settings.
    2. Touch the Search icon in top-right corner, type Night mode » select it.
    3. Configure the options as per your wish.

That’s it.

Happy Androiding!
