Here’s something for Motorola Droid Xyboard owners to get excited about. You will be able to root your Xyboards usng a one-click or automated method very soon, thanks to some excellent development work from developer Dan Rosenberg a.k.a djrbliss, who also gave us the automated root tool for the Tablet S. What’s even better, is that this method will work for the 10.1 as well as 8.2 versions of the Xyboard, and will take just one click to root.

The tool has not been  uploaded yet, but should be coming soon enough. You can follow this link to download it, and to check other details. Needless to say, like most of the other root tools by DJRbliss, you would need to have ADB and the appropriate Motorola drivers set up on your PC.
