Sony recently introduced “Concept for Android” programme to better build/test upcoming software updates for its Xperia devices. The programme kicked off with Android 6.0 Marshmallow for select Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact users earlier this month.

Note: Concept Installer won’t work if your Xperia device has unlocked bootloader. Also, Installing concept software will wipe your device clean, all you data will be lost, so make sure you backup important data before proceeding.

1. Start/Open Concept Installer on your PC.
2. Select the “Install Concept Software” tab.
3. Connect your Xperia phone to PC and wait for a while.
4. Press the “Install software” button once your device shows up on the screen.
