Download Samsung Galaxy S6 PIT File [G920F/I/K/L/S/T/W8]

When we talk about PIT file, we have to start off with a warning: USE THEM WISELY. Here you will find Samsung Galaxy S6 PIT files, for many variants of the device, so be sure to use them only on Galaxy S6 with given model no., and NOT ON ANY OTHER DEVICE. Your device’s model no. should start with G920.

→ Btw, if your device’s model no. begins with G925, then check here for Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE PIT Files.

PIT file lays down a partition table for the device, and if you use wrong PIT file on your device, its partitions get faulty and device gets damaged.

You need PIT file when you flash a wrong firmware or ROM on your device, resulting in some problem with partitions. Flashing your device’s firmware might not help in such cases, unless you also use PIT file for your device with that.

To fix Galaxy S6 with bad partitions, you would need to select the PIT file — as relevant for your device, go by the model no. — along with the firmware file.

If you plan to use the PIT file, then better use latest version of Odin, v3.10.6. And select the firmware in AP option, while select the PIT file in PIT option under the separate PIT tab in the software.

Download PIT file based on your S6’s model no., and check that in Settings > About device screen, or on the packaging box of the device.

PIT files are available for following model nos. of Galaxy S6:

Btw, in case you’re wondering, the PIT files are common for a particular model no. with different memory capacity. As long as model no. is same, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a 32GB set, or 64 or 128 GB one. Be sure to choose the PIT file for your device’s model no. otherwise you may brick your device.

  7. First of all thanks for this information but question here.

In the G920F wich one is the latest pit file or at least the better one to choose from this three

    G920F_2BOG8_EUR_OPEN.pit
    G920F_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN100M.pit
    G920F_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN150M.pit

i mean why the Hidden150M.pit and not the EUR_OPEN.pit. i would like to know thanks!

And one question more, is irrelevant the android version that you use it with? i mean i can use this pit files with android 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 for example?

Im planing to do a very clean install (with one of the pit files here) when android 6.0.1 stable version is out.

    1. Don’t use PIT file unless your device is bricked/not working already. If it’s just clean install, then it would do without pit file.
As regards the right file, look for the size of HIDDEN partition currently on your device, you have to match that.

    2. Thanks Krishna, one noob question here, how do i look for the size of my HIDDEN partition of my device??.
