LG will not release the Marshmallow update for L90. The device is now a bit old to be supported with major Android update, but you can still run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on your L90 using the custom ROMs provided below.
The L90 CM13 ROM is one great option to install Android 6.0 update on your device. Then sure try other ROMs too once you get the feel of it.
Note that these are unofficial updates, and aren’t from LG. These are based on AOSP Marshmallow code, and thus look and work a lot like Nexus devices whose software and updates are handled by Google.
If you want to install the LG ROM back, you will need to install the firmware on your device back.
To install these ROMs, you will need TWRP recovery on your L90. So install that first, and then use the instructions at the bottom for detailed procedure on installation.
