[APK] Google Hangouts gets updated to v2.3 with Google Voice support and Material Design UI

Google is rolling out an update to the Hangouts app with Google Voice integration and an UI overhaul based on the new Material design introduced with Android L. The Hangouts v2.3 is all green with gorgeous transitions and smooth movements. And with the addition of tabs it’s become super easy to navigate around app, by default there are two tabs: a contacts tab and one listing your previous chats.

By installing  the new Hangouts Dialer from the Play Store, the number of tabs increases to three. The new tabs opens up the dialer for Google Voice with in the app which is pretty cool!

With Google Voice in Hangouts you’ll be able to call other Hangouts users for free, place free calls to phone numbers in the United States and Canada, as well as take advantage of low international rates. And also receive & send Google Voice text messages and voice mails. It’s also important to note that even if you don’t have a Google Voice number, you’ll be able to make calls to actual phones.

sub: UPDATING GOOGLE HANGOUTS WITH VERSION 2.3

Information given in the above article is welcome & we thank you for the same. However, it is incomplete with the finer points missing. As soon as I read your story on the subject I installed the Apk along with the DIALER Apk on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 model GT P 5100 running Android 4.2.2 AND I am located in India the Dialer did not work on repeated reinstalls.
Possibly it is too early to have full data. We hope that you shall do a complete article on the subject and oblige.

I somehow have this feeling that all Forums/Blogs, while doing great work for the Android Community, somehow fail to give FULL information. Something is also missing!
