It’s Android, it’s apps porting, and it’s so fun! Here we go with our this-time-of-the-year article of Galaxy-new Apps for Galaxy-tad-old device. Shared here are Galaxy S7 apps for Galaxy S6 and Note 5 users, and we think more phones like Galaxy S4 and S5, Note 2 and Note 3, Grand series, Alpha, A3, A5, A7, A9, etc. will be supported soon, give or take few apps and features.
It’s actually the OS version that is more important thing here. Right now, these apps are said to work on Marshmallow only. So, we are limited to S6 series (S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus) and Note 5 devices that Samsung has released Marshmallow on. For now, only S7 Galaxy Apps and S7 Theme Store are fully working on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. So, here you go most Samsung users!

Galaxy S7 Apps
1. Galaxy Labs (unified home and one word call unlocker)
How to: Install it using TWRP recovery. If not, then extract the zip and get the apk form it. Transfer the apk to priv-app folder under system folder, and set permissions rw-r–r– for it work correctly. Don’t forget to reboot after doing this. Works on both Android 6.0.1 only.

2. Game Launcher
How to: Install it using TWRP recovery. No alternative. Can’t install the APK as usual. Works on both Android 6.0.1 only.
3. Weather Widget
How to: Install it using TWRP recovery. Don’t forget to delete the current/old AccuWeather and WeatherDeamon app (find both in System/app folder) from your device first. Works on both Android 6.0.1 only.
4. Wallpaper Picker
Download Link — WallpaperPicker_Zero2.apk
How to: Go to priv-app folder under system folder, and create a folder named WallpaperPicker_Zero2, then transfer the APK to thisnew folder. Set permissions rw-r–r– for the file. Folder should have same permission as other folder in priv-app. Delete ARM folder if you are on Samsung’s ROM that is in default ODEX type. If you have deodexed ROM, then don’t delete ARM folder. Don’t forget to reboot after doing this. Works on both Android 6.0.1 only.
5. Galaxy Apps and Widget

How to: Install by the APKs as usual (get them by extracting the zip file). Works on both Android 5.1.1 and 6.0.1.
6. Theme Store
