Update [November 13, 2016]: Galaxy S6 has the firmware based on Android 7.0 Nougat update already under testing, it’s being reported, with the firmware version mentioned in rumors is G920FXXS5DPK7. The expected release date is said to be January 2017. The G920FXXS5DPK7 firmware is not expected to come out of Samsung’s offices, as the release build of the firmware will be a different one that PK7 update.

Update (August 20, 2016): We have added a new firmware for AT&T Galaxy S6, the latest one right now, with software version G920AUCS4CPG1. It’s hard to find the AT&T firmware, but now that we have the latest one available, things are convenient. Have fun! For next update after the PG1, you can download the PG1 firmware and flash it, and then use software update option in Settings to get newer than PG1 updates easily. Right now though, PG1 is latest!

Update (June 27, 2016): Samsung and T-Mobile have updated their Galaxy S6 with the build G920TUVU4EPF1 today, which has been added to downloads below.

How to Download and Install Firmware

Be sure to check your Galaxy S6’s model no. first. You can do so using an app called Droid Info, or simply check it on its packaging box, or under Settings > About.

Then download the firmware according to that model no. only to ensure compatibility. We have provided the downloads as per model no. so that it’s easy for you to identify the firmware for your device.
