The Chinese firm Huawei announced the P8 Max in April alongside the flagship smartphone Huawei P8. As the name suggests, the device is a larger variant of the P8. In addition to featuring a larger form factor, the P8 Max has improved specifications and a higher price tag. While announcing the P8 Max, Huawei made it clear that this device is meant for the business users.
To refresh on the specifications, the Huawei P8 Max boasts of a larger 6.8 inch Full HD 1080p display that is suitable for reading and editing the documents. In terms of raw hardware, the handset is equipped with a 2.2 GHz octa core Kirin 930 processor that is teamed up with 3 GB of RAM.
At its back, the device features a 13 MP main snapper and there is a 5 MP front facer for clicking selfies and making video calls. The firm has managed to power the Huawei P8 Max with a capacious 4,360 mAh battery. On the software front, the device runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop build.
The Huawei P8 Max is expected to carry a price tag of roughly 3,588 Yuan that puts it along with the market dominators such as Apple and Samsung.
