Check out secondary display of Meizu Pro 7 in action

We all know that Meizu’s upcoming flagship phone, the Pro 7, will be equipped with a unique secondary display in its rear. Although the device has been in the news for quite some time now with leaked images and rumored specsheet abound, only once in the past were we lucky enough to get a glimpse of its secondary display. Well, luck is on our side once again and this time the leaked Meizu Pro 7 images show the secondary display in action.

This is the best look we can get at Meizu Pro 7 secondary display prior to its launch. The leaked image has surfaced on Chinese mircoblogging site Weibo.  As you can see from the images (above and below), the secondary display is not a myth but a reality and Meizu gets the credit for being the first to apply it on its Pro 7 device.

Two of the Meizu Pro 7 images reveal the secondary display showing live pages and the third one shows a picture. Although not clearly known how Meizu intends to use this display, past speculations hinted that it could be used to display notifications and allow users to go for it while on low battery. But with this latest leak it seems the secondary display might perform all the functions of a primary screen.

Another notable feature is the dual rear camera set-up on the device which is touted to be of 12MP+12MP resolution.  The phone is said to come in three storage options: 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and a 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM.

Meizu Pro 7 could be powered by a MediaTek MT6799 Helio X30 chipset. The rumored July 7th release date proved to be a hoax and all eyes are now set towards an official announcement from the Chinese company about the much awaited launch.
