BlackBerry BBC100-1 specs revealed via GeekBench listing

The first BlackBerry phone to sport a dual SIM, BlackBerry BBC100-1, has been spotted on benchmarking site GeekBench revealing a couple of its specifications. This handset from Blackberry has been under the rumor radar for quite some time now.

First spotted on Indonesia’s e-Certification website POSTEL, BlackBerry BBC100-1 comes from an Indonesian company called BB MERAH PUTIH, PT. This was followed by leaked specs and images of the handset which gave us a proper look at the phone. The latest GeekBench listing further confirms the past leaks.

As per GeekBench, BlackBerry BBC100-1 will run Android 7.0 Nougat. Powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor, which is likely to be coupled with Snapdragon 425 SoC, the phone will pack in 4GB RAM. This will be paired with 32GB internal storage, says a past leak.

The leak also confirms that the dual-SIM BlackBerry phone will flaunt 13 MP rear camera and a 8MP selfie snapper coupled with a 3000mAH battery to keep the lights on.

BlackBerry launched KEYone, dubbed as ‘Mercury’ by the rumor mill, in February with a physical keyboard. This phone will be releasing in Europe next month.

  3. looks like Blackberry is not backing down on making smartphones, but even their budget grade specs devices r so expensive that the people will think twice before buying it, they should really work on their pricing strategy!!

    1. Blackberry has always been a premium seeking phone and it looks like they don’t want to step down to the low end market and want to continue producing phones slapped with a premium price

  5. I was a huge fan on the blackberry priv and they are at it again. Before people criticize the low specs, Id like to mention that this is what blackberry does. It targets only its narrow business users that are blackberry loyalists since years. It isn’t for performance but rather for email and essentially doing what a basic phone does with convenience and style.
