We have been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy S4 quite regularly now, including its specs and even its supposed release date. Now, Sammobile is reporting that Samsung is working on a Full HD smartphone for AT&T, and we can be pretty sure this will turn out to be the Galaxy S4 variant for the US carrier.
The details for the AT&T Galaxy S4 come from the UAProf (User Agent Profile) of the device, which mention the screen specs as well as the model number, which will apparently be SGH-I337 (the Galaxy S3 is SGH-I747). If the Galaxy Note 2 is anything to go by, we can expect all other specs of the AT&T Galaxy S4 to be the same as the international variant, except of course for LTE support for high-speed internet access.
Here’s a part of the UAProf (the full version can be seen at the source):

There is however one discrepancy in that UAProf – the CPU is listed as ARM11, which couldn’t possibly be right considering ARM11 is outdated and ARM7 is the instruction set used in modern processors. But then again, at this point the specs and details can’t be taken to be true anyway, so maybe we’ll see it correctly listed as ARM7 later on.
With the Galaxy S3’s release on every major carrier in the US as well as internationally happening at the same time, Samsung is no doubt looking to repeat the same with the Galaxy S4, and the presence of the UAProf for the SGH-I337 suggest that AT&T at least is already on-board.
We can expect further information about the AT&T and other carrier variants at the unlocked event Samsung is expected to hold in March for unveiling the device, and Samsung Galaxy fans in the US will no doubt be quite impatient till the official launch happens. Till then, here’s hoping for some more interesting tidbits about Samsung’s next major flagship in the coming weeks.
