Root status: Not available
The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, which the AT&T Note 5 users have been long waiting for is now finally rolling out.
The OTA update is coming with firmware build number N920AUCUZBPE6, which is similar to that of AT&T S6 Edge Plus Marshmallow build.
Anyway, we generally advice against installing the latest OTA updates from AT&T to people who care about root access. But since the AT&T Note 5 didn’t even had root on the Lollipop builds, there’s no risk updating it to Marshmallow as far rooting is concerned.
We’ll update this post as soon as we come to know of any developments in AT&T Note 5 root status. Keep your fingers crossed.
