AT&T LG V20 gets H91010L update carrying December security patch

AT&T is seeding a new software update for the LG V20 that installs the latest Android security patch. The update is currently available over-the-air and the version number is H91010L. The build number is NRD90M. As you can see from the screenshot above, it installs the December security patch.

There are no other new features in this update, and it just installs the latest security patch. Recently, Verizon also released a security update for the LG V20. Sprint customers received the update last month.

The Sprint update featured a fix for speaker issues, better support for Amazon apps on Chrome, and the latest security patch. It was thought to be the Android 7.1.1 update, but it wasn’t. The LG V20 is yet to be upgraded to the latest Android 7.1.1 software. If you want to try the latest software, you can get it unofficially via a custom ROM like Lineage OS.

Before installing the update, make sure the smartphone has more than 50 percent charge, and is connected to a strong WiFi or cellular connection. We will let you know when official Android 7.1.1 is available for the device.
