AT&T LG G6 update rolling out with bug fixes, software version H87110c

The LG G6 users on AT&T network are receiving a new software update. The update is being rolled out over the air and is a minor one.

Arriving as software version H87110c, the update fixes regular bugs and in all probability should enhance system improvements. The new update is Android Nougat based and the changelog shows the Android security patch level of March 1, 2017.

Early this month, T-Mobile rolled out an update to LG G6 in the US which arrived as software version H87210e.

This was followed by release of another update to G6 units in Korea which brought a couple of improvements to the flagship smartphone. With file size at 157MB, the update enhanced the HDR10 image quality on the Korean G6 units other than improving gallery performance for fast file sharing.

  1. There is something very reassuring about getting incremental updates of bug fixes, performance enhancement and security on a new phone. It implies that LG is keeping a close eye and working on a lot of new things for the new phone. This, as a consequence extends the euphoric honeymoon period of the user with the new phone where he/she is absolutely adoring it.
