AT&T releases minor software update for LG G4 [H81022C]

AT&T has released a new software for the LG G4 that includes the latest Android device security updates. This is a minor update and features the November security patch. The build number of the update is MRA58K and it is available as an OTA update right now.

We also have the software version, which is now H81022c, and it is still based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Those with an LG G4 from AT&T should definitely install this update, which weighs in at 273MB.

Several carriers have already updated the LG G5 to Android 7.0 Nougat, so that means the LG G4 is next in line. So far, we haven’t had any details about a potential release date for the G4 Nougat update. If you’re eager to try out Android 7.1 nougat on the G4, you can give the CyanogenMod CM 14.1 builds a try.

The LG V20 also got an update from AT&T last month, which added some new features and the latest Android security patch. The V20 and the LG G5 are currently the only devices from LG running Nougat, but that should change soon.
