AT&T HTC One VX finally landing on December 7th?

The HTC One VX has been one elusive smartphone, and was originally expected to be out on November 16th as per an AT&T announcement in early November. The mid-range AT&T exclusive smartphone was supposed to debut alongside the more powerful HTC One X+. While the One X+ did make it to D-Day as scheduled, there was no sign of the One VX at all, either at AT&T stores or online.

There was no comment from AT&T about the delay at that time, and it is still unclear what caused the HTC One VX to drop off the grid so abruptly, but an AT&T spokesperson has supposedly told our pals at Android Central that the mid-range smartphone is expected to be fully stocked in all channels by December 7th.

For those who missed the specs for the device last time, the HTC One VX is a mid-range device that sports a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor (MSM8930), 4.5-inch Super LCD2 display (540×960), 8GB internal storage, 5 megapixel camera, 1810 mAh battery, Android 4.0 (update to Android 4.1 to come later), and support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network.

The HTC One VX would be available exclusively on AT&T and is expected to be priced at $49 with a fresh two-year commitment. Not a bad deal actually, for a pretty good looking phone with respectable specs to boot. Of course, we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears alert for any more developments on this fella, and as always, will bring you the latest as soon as we pick up anything more.
