Android 7.0 Nougat update for AT&T Galaxy S7 Active rolling out as an OTA today

AT&T Galaxy S7 Active Nougat update

AT&T is rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Samsung Galaxy S7 Active today. Besides the 7.0 upgrade — you will have to wait another two months at the least if you are looking for Android 7.1.x already — the Nougat OTA also packs in lots of other cool stuff in its changelog. We don’t have the official software version of the Nougat build yet, but that should be only a matter of time.

As per the official changelog provided, the Nougat update for S7 Active packs in enhancements for mobile network, and adds Samsung’s two services, Samsung Cloud and Samsung Pass, a treatment that was given to AT&T Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge back in February.

That’s not all, AT&T has decided to axe the Address Book bloatware of its own, which you can now selects apps in Setup and Transfer. The update also packs in security patch, which should be for the month of February 2017.
