AT&T is now starting to push out the latest security patch to four Samsung devices. The US-based carrier is rolling out the update Over the Air as software versions N920AUCS4EQE1, G928AUCS4EQE1, G925AUCS4EQE1 and G920AUCS4EQE1 for the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6, respectively. Two days back, AT&T pushed out May security patch to all Galaxy S7 variants.
The QE1 build applies the May security patch to the above mentioned devices and it seems to have just made it in time as the month end is already drawing to a close. The Nougat based updates also include the customary performance improvements which ensure that your device functions smoothly. The update also brings bug fixes and system stability improvements.
The security patch on the other hand, protects your device and the user’s data from viruses threats and hackers. The updates are sized between 15MB to 50MB. Also, before you install the update, ensure that your device has at least 50% charge.

Since this is an staged rollout, it might take a while for the update to reach your device. If you’re not one to wait though, go ahead and check for the update manually from Settings » Software update » Download updates manually section.
