Asus ZenFone Selfie with Dual 13 MP Cameras Unveiled at Computex
Asus has announced the ZenFone Selfie smartphone at the Computex conference in Taiwan along with a slew of other offerings including the ZenPad 7, ZenPad 8 and ZenWatch 2. The Taiwanese firm has not revealed the availability and pricing details for the Asus ZenFone Selfie smartphone.
The ZenFone Selfie smartphone is aimed at capturing a self portrait shot of your face in a seamless way. The smartphone boasts of a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display with TruVivid technology and 400 nits brightness. The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped with Zen UI. The device also features ZenMotion that lets you draw on the display to launch shortcuts. You can draw an S on the display for super-fast selfie action.
The imaging hardware of the ZenFone Selfie comprises of a 13 MP front facing selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 24 mm wide angle lens. At its back, the smartphone has a 13 MP snapper 28 mm lens, laser autofocus, 5 prism Largan lens, dual LED real tone flash and f/2.0 aperture.
The ZenFone Selfie is energized by a 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core processor teamed up with Adreno 405 graphics unit and 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB or 32 GB of native storage space onboard the ZenFone Selfie and it can be expanded up to 64 GB via a micro SD card.
The device has been announced in a variety of colors including glamour red, glacier gray, sheer gold, osmium black, aqua blue, pure white and chic pink.
