Android Distribution chart for February 2017 released

Google has released the updated Android distribution chart for February 2017. Unlike last month’s chart, the new chart comes without any drastic changes.

Android 7.0 Nougat has taken a jump from 0.5% in January to 0.9% this month. And the Android 7.1 release is now at 0.3% as compared to 0.2% last month.

Android 5.1 Lollipop still takes the major portion of the pie with 23.1%, but in retrospect it has declined from 23.3%. The second in line is Marshmallow shooting from 29.6% to 30.7% followed by KitKat at 21.9% as against 22.6% of last month.

Jelly Bean sits at 11.3% with a minor change (Jan-11.6%) while both Ice Cream Sandwich (Jan-1.1%) and Gingerbread (Jan-1.0%) stick to 1% mark.
