Android 7.0 Nougat update for Huawei P9 Lite seeding now as build B331

Huawei is delighting fans worldwide and keeping up with its word by delivering the Nougat OTA update to P9 Lite. This is not the first release of P9 Lite Android 7.0 update, but it does tells us that Huawei is still actively working on the update, and is in the processor of covering more regions.

Today, build B331 started rolling out for the P9 Lite users, and it brings the EMUI 5.0 skin of the company along. With EMUI UI 5.0, Huawei brings a more cleaner interface, simplified gestures and even an optional app drawer layout along with all the perks that Android 7.0 Nougat has to offer.

Huawei has indeed making a name for itself by keeping its arsenal of devices up to date. Huawei is also rolling out an update to its smartwatch, the Huawei Watch which competes with the big guns in the smartwatch industry. As the P9 lite starts seeding the Nougat update, the successors, the P10 and P10 Plus are expected to release around March or April.
