A month after the 3G variant of the Galaxy Note 10.1 received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in Germany, Samsung is now pushing out the same update to the Wi-Fi-only model, again starting with the same country before it begins rolling out to other regions.

The OTA update is 441.30MB in size and has the build number N8010XXBLK9, bringing all the enhancements that Android 4.1 is supposed to bring, such as a responsive and smoother interface, Google Now voice recognition and information cards, resizable widgets, faster browsing, actionable and expandable notifications  and lots of other small but useful improvements that should make one of the most powerful Android tablets even more powerful.

There update brings along the new Premium Suite, which includes new S Pen apps such as Easy Clip and Paper Artist, and also extended multi-window multitasking that now allows 16 apps to run at any given moment.

Be sure to check for the update manually if you haven’t gotten a notification yet, from the Settings » About tablet » Software updates menu. The 3G model’s update took quite a time to roll out to other regions, though hopefully the Wi-Fi variant won’t see too many delays, since with no 3G/mobile data connectivity, carriers and operators should be approving the update much faster.

We’ll be sure to update this page with a full step-by-step guide on how to manually install the Android 4.1 firmware whenever it becomes available for download, so be sure to check back later!
