After 8.3, LG G Pad 7.0, 8.0, and 10.1 to get the Lollipop update starting April 12

Everyone has been complaining of the fact that months after the latest version of Android — the Android Lollipop — rolled out, LG tablets are some of the only high-end devices still running the KitKat. Things got complicated further when the sole member of the family receiving the update turned out to be the G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition with people claiming a bias on Google’s part in doling out the update.

However, starting this Sunday 3 more LG tablets will run the Lollipop. Yes folks, come Sunday the LG G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 will all start receiving the newest android and while it may take a few days in getting it to all the devices out there, the fact that the process has finally begun certainly comes as a relief. Whats more, the update will also be available at LG’s official website thus enabling you to download and install from there in case your reigon lags in getting the update or if you simply dont want to wait any longer.

Well, it will certainly be interesting to see how long it is before the next batch of LG devices receive the update and what — if any — personal touches LG adds to the Lollipop before allowing it to run on its tablets.
