64 GB Nexus 10 isn’t real, after all

Samsung seems to have set off on a heart-breaking spree today. Earlier today, Samsung denied the existence of the rumored Galaxy Note 7-inchers GT-N5100/5110, which have already been said to have passed through DLNA and WiFi certification. Yesterday, we published a screenshot of the Nexus 10 from Samsung South Korea’s website, which showed a 64GB variant (Image on the left), in addition to the 16GB and 32GB options that have been officially announced. Considering that anything is possible, especially with Nexus devices these days, we allowed ourselves to get a little happy, albeit not without a nagging suspicion that this could well be a typo.

Apparently our suspicion was correct, and now it turns out that Samsung Korea had indeed included the 64GB option by error, and has edited the image on the website to reflect the true picture (Image on the right). Too bad for the storage hogs –  a 64GB option would have been a good one, considering there is no expandable memory option on a Nexus device.

For those who missed the Monday headlines, the Nexus 10 is the latest 10-inch tablet by Google, manufactured by Samsung. The tablet packs a 10″ display with a whopping 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 2.0GHz Exynos 5250 processor with Mali-T604 graphics, 2GB RAM, 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, front facing camera, stereo speakers, and Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and will debut with Android 4.2 – the latest flavor of Jelly Bean, on board.

The Nexus 10 would be available on Google Play from November 13th, and is priced at $399 for the 16GB version and $499 for the 32GB one.
