64 GB Galaxy S3 Price set pretty high at $1040 by online store, release date seems to be near now

The Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn’t have any shortage of storage, with 16GB internal storage as well as support for up to 64GB microSD cards. But Samsung had promised to release a Galaxy S3 with 64GB storage as well, which would allow users to have a total of 128GB of storage, and now it is time for that promise to be fulfilled, as Italian retailers ePrice and Marco Polo Shop have begun selling the 64GB variant, for a high price of €800 ($1,040).

The 64GB Galaxy S3 comes in the Sapphire Black color. However, apart from that over the roof price, there is another caveat. Samsung has decided to release the 64GB variant only in select markets, so not everyone might be able to get their hands on one. While most would be perfectly content with the 16GB variant, not releasing the 64GB variant in every market may result in quite a few disappointed customers.

There is no confirmation yet of which other markets will be getting this high capacity quad-core beast, but we’ll be sure to let you know when further details emerge. Hit the links below to buy the Galaxy S3 64GB Black Edition.
