4GB variant of Galaxy On7 Pro shows up online

Galaxy On7 Pro

After stopping by at the Wi-Fi Alliance last week, the Samsung Galaxy On 7 Pro has made yet another appearance on the internet. This time around, though, it’s paid a visit to GFXBench.

Listed as SM-G615, Samsung’s next On series handset will feature the 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6757 chipset along with dual-core ARM Mali-T880 GPU for graphics.

The smartphone, according to the GFXBench listing, will run Android 7.0 Nougat straight out-of-the-box. That’s a pleasant change since the Galaxy On5 (2017), which was launched a while back came pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The listing reveals a 5.7-inch Full HD display. Regarding memory, this year’s On7 Pro will get 4GB of RAM (earlier rumored to be 3GB of RAM) coupled with 32GB of onboard storage space both of which come as a significant upgrade over its predecessor.

For the shutterbugs, the Galaxy smartphone has a 12MP camera both at the front and back.

This is not the first time for the Galaxy On7 Pro (2017) to pay a visit to the GFXBench. It was in February that the smartphone stopped by at the benchmarking site revealing slightly different set of specs than what are mentioned above.

Now that the smartphone has been in the news for quite some time, we are assuming that it’s not very far away from the official launch. We will keep you posted should the launch date be revealed.
