360 N6 with 8GB RAM to launch in China for 1699 Yuan ($250)

The rumor mill has it on record that Chinese mobile phone maker, 360, could soon launch a pretty coolly spec’ed device dubbed as N6. What we have here and leaked pics about the N6, which showcase two colors of the device (Blur and Black), and back and front of the device.

The 360 N6 is rumored to feature a monstrous 8GB of RAM, but even more cooler fact than that is that the Chinese OEM is looking to get this to users for the price of just 1699 Yuan (approx. $250).

But just because the smartphone may feature 8GB of RAM, that doesn’t grant it a position as a high end device. In fact, the leak also suggests that the device may come with 16GB of internal memory, which leaves us scratching our heads. Is this a low-end device or a high-end one?

For comparison’s sake, the current gen 360 N5s features 6GB of RAM, 64GB of on board storage, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a large 3730mAh battery and the device is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (which has four A72 cores BTW). And this device retails for 1699 Yuan, which is a pretty sweat deal as you’re getting a lot of high end processing power in your hands.

It’s fascinating how Chinese OEMs manage to pull of such amazing prices on smartphones. This only makes us wonder if we’re being ripped off, when other OEMs sell similar devices at three times the price.
